Wildflowers

This large abstract landscape painting is inspired by the awakening of nature in Spring, the colors and the smell of meadows and wildflowers which always bring me so much joy and I hope this painting makes you feel this feeling too.

Painted with acrylic paint and oil pastels on cotton stretched canvas.

70 x 50 cm ( 27.6 x 19.7 in)

I applied several layers of paint and this gives the painting texture, in some areas I scratched or removed paint to reveal colors beneath.
Pictures don’t give justice to this painting, although I took some close ups for details to give an idea of the complexity of it. It surely needs to be seen in person, colors are very vibrant, it’s a joy for the eyes and the soul indeed.

It is unframed, signed and comes with certificate of authenticity.
